Dimension Theory demonstrates his Cloud Nine product for Carrara, which distributes Carrara’s volumetric clouds on a Surface Replicator. Some great sky tips here!
Dartanbeck’s EnvironKit series leverage the power of Carrara’s nature, terrain, and environment tools. While he tours this extensive product you will see how he has organized light and sky elements into presets that can be loaded from the browser, and created custom morphing helper objects to control the distribution of Carrara’s clouds using surface replicators.
In addition to the physical simulation of skies in Carrara, you can add volumetric clouds that realistically scatter the light of the atmosphere. You can control their shape and appearance, place them in 3D space, and animate them.
ATOMIC! Cripeman explores volumetric clouds replicated over the surface of a simple base object. Multi-Pass and some postwork in the second video.
In this tutorial Cripeman looks at the old school volumetrics FX in Carrara.
In this tutorial by Cripeman you will learn how to create and adjust volumetric clouds in Carrara.
