Fixing crossed eyes and grouping objects to wearables
Started by lazz11 9 years ago
Hello, I have a couple questions for Carrara geniuses. Am working on a Mac system with Carrara Pro 8.5 and Daz Studio 4.9 Pro.
1. I imported my morphed model in from Daz and his eyes are crossed, what is the best way to set them in the right default position and save that as the character zero pose? (see attached image) I tried editing them in the model editor but they always revert to the crossed position. Looked at saving the position as a morph but the tutorial I was following didn't match to the options I was seeing.

2. I have a badge I've attached to the pants (Daz wearable) and want it to move and animate with the pants but it's not groupingparenting properly, am missing something, it gets left behind sometimes when I animate. What are the steps for attaching this object?

Images attached. Thanks for any help of pointers to some good tutorials.

Cheers, Leah

Try select the eyball and if it is not locked you should be able to rotate to make it look ok - position for each eyball and they shouldstay that way If they wont move select the MOTIONS tab in the parameters tray and look at the seetings for each eye. Given that you've imported from Daz Studio this may not work. .
