Danas Anis Carrara Artist
I had luck to enter Vilnius College of Technology and Design where I studied interactive design, digital animation and film making in 2006. During this period I discovered Carrara 5 and I was so intrigued by it that I kept tracking and examining it until I was able to buy a copy of Carrara.

Hello! My name is Danas. I am know usually by these two names: Danas_Anis or Jetbird_D2. Since childhood I loved to draw, I was always a dreamer and a bit off the planet guy and at age 5 I was already drawing my first comic book (if it can be called that way). I graduated Kaunas Art Gymnasium where I was introduced to 3D graphics for the first time with 3DS Max 5. During my graduation diploma project day I was offered to enter Vilnius Academy of Arts and study animation in Multimedia Faculty. However I had luck to enter Vilnius College of Technology and Design where I studied interactive design, digital animation and film making in 2006. During this period I discovered Carrara 5 and I was so intrigued by it that I kept tracking and examining it until I was able to buy a copy of Carrara. Before I was able to do so I had to go with other tools, I have tried all major and some not popular applications. I used Blender 2.40 for some time. And once I got my copy of Carrara I used to cheat on some 3DS Max lectures and accomplish projects with Carrara instead. Back then I have found a big value of speed and convenience in Carrara and fell in love with it.
I have never had troubles to meet deadlines and even help my colleagues. On 2009 I acquired a professorial bachelor degree as a designer and became a professional multimedia designer oriented to digital animation. I also started the Carrara 3D Expo magazine project. I think no one who knows me expected me to become a manager of a magazine :). Unfortunately after the house fire incident I had to take any acceptable job and had to give two years for print design either as an employee of design and advertising projects company or as a freelancer. Now I am trying to return to multimedia and catch up with always growing on demands multimedia world.
