Simulating the surface of the ocean, this new feature can be used to create both still and animated oceans. Control the speed and direction of the wind as well as the wave height.
For further realism, you can use advanced shaders such as transparency with absorption and the in-scattering render option. These new shaders and render options simulate depth by determining light absorption based on the relative depth of the water and the realistic light reflection from particles within the ocean. This allows you to make shallow waters appear much more realistic.
